I think it's a good thing to have, and fortunately I haven't really needed it for spills and whatnot. It's not too expensive, so that was good. It also isn't loud or hot. However, I don't feel like it fits the mattress snugly. It kind of looks messy on the sides and corners, so it misses out on the "sleek, not there" look I want.

The mattress is very comfy. First tried it at a relative's. Knew that is what I wanted.
