A little firmer than the original, but still a very comfortable mattress. There were no issues with the memory foam smell after unpacking, and the mattress has held its shape for the past three months.

After a month of sleeping on the mint mattress it is still a bit too firm for my liking. I'm a side sleeper and find myself turning over a lot trying to get comfortable. I've also had some mild hip pain and tightness. I'm going to give it another month in hopes that it will get better so that I don't have to go through the return process.

The love for this mattress cannot go unrecognized! The bed has a very jelly-springy feel to it that responds fast and snaps back when pressed, but when you lay down it has this soft, yet very firm feel that’s hard to imagine because those words contradict themselves in a way. And still in a way, it makes sense once you’ve laid down in it!

It's so comfy. My husband was worried it would be too firm when we tried it at the store, but I convinced him to give it a try since there is a 100 night trial. The first night took some getting used to as we had been on a traditional spring mattress before, but by night two, we were set. We absolutely love it. We don't get too warm, we have great support, and we're super comfy. Highly recommend.

At first, mattress left my joints aching. I reached out and was sent mattress topper for free. After weeks with topper that helped alleviate hardness, I removed it and sleeping well on Mint. I like that it doesn't make you hot, gives good support.

My 18 year old son really likes his queen mint mattress with the topper. My husband and I are so impressed with the king mint with topper that we bought one year ago. We miss our bed when we travel. Hotel beds don't even come close to Tuft and Needle comfort.
