This mattress is much firmer than advertised. That said it is not terribly uncomfortable, though my arms so go to sleep when sleeping on my side. And some mornings my lower back is sore. I expected more softness. I am giving it more time as I have only had it for about a month. It does still give off an unpleasant odor which I hope will diminish in time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I relied on consumer reports which recommended this mattress and I have not been disappointed. Once we switched to this mattress I started getting some of the best nights sleep I’ve ever gotten. There was no smell when we unpacked it we were able to sleep on it that same day and it is very comfortable.

Super comfy, we got a purple mattress to try and it wasn't anywhere as near as comfy as the mint mattress! Purple was way to form, with no foam, just the rubber grid. While the mint has a cooling gel that feels AMAZING

Took about a week to get the chemical smell out, but I wasn't in a hurry so that didn't bother me. Comfy, quiet and easy to move around on the bed and not disturb another person sleeping in it. I don't have the back and sciatic pains I had with my other bed, I believe this bed is helping me sleep better through the nights and keeping my back in better alignment. Would easily buy it again.
