Love this mattress! It is soft but supportive. There is no pressure on the shoulders and hip when I sleep on my side. My old Tempurapedic mattress gave me a back ache and was so hot to sleep on. These two issues are no longer a problem with our new Mint mattress!

We've only had it a little while, but so far we love it. We loved our Select Comfort bed for a long time as well. The real test will be how we like in a couple of years. We slept on the Sleep Number bed for more than twenty years before replacing it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frankly this bed is too hard for my body. I'm 5'7" 115 lbs and my hips do not sink into it at all. It's like sleeping on a deceptively cozy rock that eventually gives you back and neck pain from having a bent spine all night. I generally sleep on my side or stomach and when I sleep on my stomach my ribs feel bruised from the pressure. It's just too hard, I've never experienced this with a mattress. Woke up the other day and couldn't turn my head right. Constantly turning over to avoid soreness.

We bought this mattress with very high expectations as both our sons have the original mattresses and they are quite comfortable. However, this one is not. Very firm and stiff. Both my husband and I woke up with pain in our low back and hips. The customer service was excellent, however, and they sent us a topper free of charge! With the topper it is rather comfortable, almost like their original mattress. The downside though is that the combined height of the thick mattress and topper is quite ridiculous and in order to get sheets and a mattress protector to fit, I had to buy queen sized linens. Customer service was wonderful, and I appreciate their donation program. Next time we will just stick with their original mattress.
