If you like for your bed to "sink" a little when you sit down, this may not be the bed for you. It is quite firm to sit and lay on, although the top layer does make it give a bit when you actually settle in. It does sleep cool (no hot flashes!) and there is virtually no off-gassing, but overall I'm not loving it as much as I expected to. My husband (220#) likes it better than I do (110#).

Hi there! Thank you for your candid insight and feedback. We're sorry to hear that your new Mint Mattress isn't everything you had hoped for. It can take up to a couple of weeks for the foam to acclimate to its new home and we hope it has gotten better over time. Of course, we don't want you to feel stuck with something you don't love, so feel free to reach out to 877-842-2586 or support@tuftandneedle.com if you haven't already, and the team can try to assist you from there!

Loved the initial feel of the mattress, and really wanted it to work out. But unfortunately, both my husband and I started getting low back pain after using this mattress. We tried it several time switching back and forth between our old mattress and this one, and the back pain would kept returning after sleeping on this mattress for 3-4 nights.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
