The mattress was very hard so we felt necessary to buy the mattress top to hopefully make it more soft.

I like the mattress but as a side sleeper, it is a little more firm than I had hoped. We just ordered the mattress topper to see if it helps relieve some of the pressure.

It moves around on top of the mattress too much. Need something to secure it to mattress.

It made my bed softer for sure, which is better for my hips and shoulders (I’m a side sleeer). But I’m not sure it’s providing the support my back needs? It’s a weird balance. So the question “would I recommend it to a friend?” would be based on what that friend was looking for in a mattress topper. If they want a softer, plusher bed, then I’d say 10! If they want more back support, I might suggest differrently. So it was a difficult question to answer.

It's not as soft as I expected and I shouldn't have to buy an extra topper to make it comfortable, and it's still not as soft as I'd like. Speaking of, the topper moves all around even though it's being held in place with the protector and sheets. Thinking of returning everything and going with something different.
