To start, I hate traditional foam mattresses, I found them to be very uncomfortable, difficult to get out of and you can't sit on the edge. My wife wanted to order the Tuft & Needle mattress, so, under protest, I decided to compare it to the next 5 competitors in that market. Due to the generous return policy I couldn't say no, but I insisted on the Mint version with the added "transition" layer. We've had it for just over 3 weeks now and I have to admit, it's very comfortable, right up to the edge. Firmness I would rate as a 7. It's firm, but it also has a comfortable "cush" to it. I also stay up later than my wife and sometimes wake her as I get into bed. Not anymore. This mattress does an excellent job in dampening my every movement. To sum it up; I wasn't surprised, I was shocked. In fact, we like this mattress so much, I threw away the box we kept for the potential return. Longevity remains my only question, but since this mattress has exceeded all of my expectations, I remain optimistically hopeful.

The mattress is extremely comfortable! Before I was getting only a couple hours of sleep per night, and I never considered the problem to be the old mattress. But now with my Nuft and Needle mattress I sleep so much more!!
We also got the mattress protector and sheets which I love both! The sheets are very soft!!
