Mattress is cool temp as advertised. I do not sink into it. It's soft on these old bones & I can still move around.

I wish I had been able to order MY side of the bed to be less firm than my husband’s.
I kinda almost wish I had bought a twin purple and a twin tuft & needle— instead of a king. I guess I would recommend to anybody who has less arthritis than me

It's just a matter of time, given that it's a bed in a box. Our chiropractor confirmed that it'll realistically take about a month for the mattress to--break in isn't really the correct term, but I'm blanking on anything else right now. He also said that it takes time for our bodies to adjust to the mattress. My husband couldn't spend a whole night on the mattress the first week. He wound up sleeping in one of our son's beds and they'd trade off sharing the new mattress with me :). As of this morning, my husband has been back in our bed for 3 nights now, and it seems to be getting more and more comfortable for him. Our sons (each nearly 12) love the pouches and like to read in them at night or just hang out on them and listen to music. I was dredding having to return the mattress and get a twin XL for me while my husband found another twin XL for himself, since we have a king-sized bed frame, but it looks like we won't be doing that. BTW, I absolutely love that you don't have to have the California warning label. I care about my family's health and the quality of your products being good enough to not require that label really means something to me.
