I purchased the Tuft and Needle mattress due to back issues I've been suffering from. My understanding was that the memory foam concept would help alleviate some of the stresses put on the back through normal mattresses, but I unfortunately have not found the Tuft and Needle mattress to be conducive in mitigating my existing back pain.

It was a little too firm initially but once we got past the suggested 2 week break-in period, it is now quite comfortable.
