I like the "slow sink" of the surface when I lie down, removing pressure from my hip joint. I do wish the mattress weren't quite so thick. Could the same effect not be achieved with a 10-inch-thick mattress?

Easy to order, fast delivery, easy to set up, well-priced, well rated by Consumer Reports (particularly like the top rating for long-term wear); but the best part is both my husband and I find it very comfortable. It feels firm, but is comfortable and there are no body stress points. A winner.

The mattress is quite a bit stiffer than expected. The price point is great but it's just not quite what we were hoping for. I still wake up with shoulder pain and stiffness.
