It is very hard! We have had this matress for over a month and it is very hard even with a foam topper. We are planning on returning it.

Mattress has been great. I was concerned that it would be a bit too soft but it's perfect. I am generally a side sleeper but move around a lot. My wife doesn't even know I'm in the bed anymore; there is zero motion transfer. Also my shoulder pains have gone away. Does not sleep hot either which was my other concern.

I bought my Mattress due to 2 impending Lower and cervical surgeries. Loved it for the month before my lumbar surgery, but now find that I need something a little softer for the new curve or lack of curve, under me now. Now I'm thinking I may need a topper. Wish I had ordered as a pair while I still had the income to purchase. The mattress is excellent, but I'm broken.

great and comfortable mattress. i have a tempurpedic mattress that i paid a fortune for, a few years back. we bought the T&N mattress as a guest bed. just as comfy as my overpriced mattress. loving the T&N comfort. slept on it two nights in a row to test. really great and at a really great price.

Overpriced Backache

I was overseas and unable to sleep on the mattress enough during the trial and now that I have had some time with it, it gives me unbelievable back pain. The pain has become worse and worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this mattress. I sleep on my side and my back and for the longest time I was having hip and nerve pain. The first two nights on this mattress actually made the pain worse. But past that, it completely went away. The mattress is extremely comfortable and I love just relaxing in my bed.
