Comfort and support. I had originally purchased a full size Tuft and Needle basic mattress and I really enjoyed it. But a full size was not enough for my partner and So we decided to upgrade to a Queen size and upgrade to the Mint mattress as well. So happy with this upgrade. The edge support is more noticeable and the mattress itself feels more supportive (it’s 2 inches thicker so this makes sense). The mattress sleeps cool and I love going to bed every night.
Our original full size makes a great quest bed so there’s no waste here!
We purchased this mattress after many hours of research of various "bed in a box" mattress companies. Our neighbors told us about Tuft and Needle and said their purchase changed their lives! We thought it would take a few weeks to get used to the mattress but after the first night I knew we made the right choice. I no longer wake up with back pain - thanks Tuft and Needle!
Best mattress I've ever owned. Firmness is just right. When one person moves the other doesn't even notice. Getting some great sleep and no aches or pains in the morning.
We purchased 2 twin xl Mint mattresses and they arrived quickly, no problem unboxing and airing out. They are very nice quality, tall mattresses with a great deal of memory foam. My husband loves it, however, it was a bit too firm for me. We previously had a pillowtop plush mattress that I had become use to and loved. Maybe for a smaller/older person (135 lbs.), memory foam is not as soft. However, the customer service was excellent and is donating the mattress to a needy cause/person. We would definitely recommend Tuft & Needle for your next mattress purchase.
We have had our Queen Mint Mattress for over a year and love it! It is supportive and not too firm. I didn’t want a mattress that is so soft that it seems to cradle and come up around your body, the Mint fits the bill. I read reviews where people miss the mattress when in hotels and I agree! We are moving and just staying in a hotel and now are in a guest bedroom at my parents. I figured that if I am awake at 4 am and thinking that I should just buy the Mint for the guest bedroom, that it deserves a review. My husband and I are both mostly side or back sleepers.
I was nervous about buying an online mattress, like everyone else, I suppose.
I had been sleeping on a sleep number bed, but never loved it as much as my partner. After we seperated, I went to a giant mattress store and lolled around aggressively on all sorts of innerspring/ box spring combos, choosing what I thought was a good option. It was...OK. thank goodness I had a guest room to put that one in. Sorry, guests.
Thanks to the internet ad algorithms, I was getting matress ads, which led me to consumer reports, which led me to the Mint.
My goodness. I loved it the first night. I loved it the second. I'm a few months in, and I still love it. I have an autoimmune type of arthritis, so I'm pretty sensitive about what I sleep on. I also have a back injury that has dogged me for 20 years that neither the yoga end of the healing spectrum nor the western medicine end of the spectrum have done much with. Has the Mint cured my back? Well, no. But, it has afforded me many more hours of comfortable sleep than any other mattress I've ever slept on. It's not particularly hot nor cold. I've got a dust mite cover on it, then a cotton mattress pad. (The first month it was a wool mattress pad, it was still cool where I live.) I'm a hot flash age woman and I am very comfortable. I can't say if a human partner's movement would be noticable, but I don't notice when the dog jumps up after I fall asleep, so, win for him. It used to wake me up and I would shoo him back off to his memory foam dog bed. Now he also sleeps the night through on the Mint.
I do sit on the edge to tie shoes, etc, and the edge is firm enough for that. The sheets stay on just fine. My sheets are deep pocket types. I have the mattress on slats, as that's what my bed has. It's quite comfortable. I like this matress. I will remind myself to reevaluate close to the end of the warrenty period, but both my 80 year old mom and my 20 year old son have napped on the bed, and they also liked it. Who knew you could get a good matress in a box?
I love it! My husband and I both have back issues, and the Mint mattress provides us the comfort and support we both need. No sore, aching backs in the morning. We look forward to going to bed!
