This mattress is definitely firm. We bought a king, so it was heavy and in a big box. We let it inflate and it got to maximum firmness in a couple of days. There were really no odors. It worked fine with our adjustable bed frame. My husband was fine with the mattress. I need something extra firm and this wasn't at that level of firmness. The return process was good. I would recommend this mattress if you are looking for something that is an 8 or 9 out of 10 in firmness.

I bought this mattress for my parents in August of 2019. My mom has been the reason why I decided to try out a new mattress since she was a bit skeptical about an online mattress brand. She suffers from back pain throughout the day and since day 1 of them sleeping on the new Mint Cal-King, she says that she wakes up with little to no pain! Their last mattress was maybe about 15 years old so I figured it was time to get a new one. I have the original Tuft and Needle but I will definitely looking forward to getting the newer mint version myself!

I recently purchased the Mint Mattress (king size) and it's very comfortable – firm enough, yet still soft. It was also so easy to take out of the box and set up. My sleep immediately improved and I couldn't be happier!

I am very suspicious of online reviews. It seems like every foam mattress has superlative online reviews. After 6 months of research, including consumer reports, I took a leap of faith and bought The Mint mattress. Best decision I ever made (after marrying my husband). I love my new mattress beyond words. This bed is supportive, but not so firm that I'm uncomfortable. Now I look forward to going to bed at night because I know how good it will feel. Wish I had taken a chance on this mattress much sooner.
