I've had many tuft and needle mattresses and the latest ones (mint and original) were both sub-par. Not as firm or premium feeling as they used to be. It's a shame. I loved my original from 2015. New ones aren't the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty comfortable, easy to setup. Honestly, I was expecting more from a mattress that is marked at a higher price and is for hot sleepers for the price. Also after 15 days the mattress still really smells like chemicals unfortunately.

We have the original TN mattress in another room and ordered the Mint as a special upgrade for ourselves. Unfortunately it is way too soft!! Much softer than the original. The extra layer of foam is not an upgrade. Mint was recommended for side sleepers, but if you move at all during the night this mattress will not support you.

I have a connective tissue disorder that makes my joints extremely loose so it's been really hard finding a mattress that is accommodating. I need it both soft enough to not push my joints out of place and firm enough to support the natural placement of my joints so they stay in the right place. That is a very tall order! And it has to be comfortable for my husband who has a very physically demanding job that requires him to lift about 2000lbs of product daily.
We were replacing a very old and extremely expensive memory foam mattress that had given us its best days. But we couldn't afford "the best technology had to offer" mattress this time around and after trying a few, I imagined having to go into debt just so I could sleep again.
Until we found the T&N Mint!! This mattress is like a dream compared to the others we had tried. And I can sleep again. Bravo, Tuft & Needle! You really nailed the perfect sleep experience.

Easy to unbox. Comfortable right away. I like a softish bed, and am a side sleeper. This hits the spot between soft and supportive. After sleeping on it for abou one week now, I’m happy with this purchase.
