[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lot of research I decided on this laptop instead of the fancy new carbon gen one for two reasons 1) it seemed to have the same internals/capacity and 2) larger screen. A few additional items drew me to it including the good reviews on battery life and durability. I do think it’s heavier than advertised- and it was tricky to find exactly how heavy the laptop I was purchasing was. Most of the sales items seem to advertise the lowest weight but that weight changes depending on what specific version you pick. It’s still portable though and I suppose the weight is expected with the horsepower and screen size. I can keep my ridiculous amount of tabs open + multiple applications and this laptop has no problem with that. Battery can generally last through a day of coursework if fully charged.
