[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop is exactly as described. Very easy to install and is very sturdy. The unit heats very quickly and has many options for heating small or larger pots or pans. Rapid heat is rapid. The knobs are not flimsy and can be removed for cleaning.

I'm very happy with the heating element configurations . My pots and pans fit perfectly, no matter if they are large or small. The surface wipes up nicely and looks as good as new. The knob controls are placed where I like them and easy to use. I didn't do the installation, but it was installed quickly and without a hitch.

Ok overall. But not my fav GE appliance

Works well overall now. However, when I first got it, two of the burners did not work properly. And, the area around the knobs always looks dirty. It is a nuisance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clean Fit with Nice Features

Not only a beautiful, clean fit in our countertop but happy to have five heating elements with two having options to fit bigger pots and pans. A nice safety feature being that we have little grandchildren is the lock and unlock switch. This keeps the stove from accidentally being turned on.
