Why Did We Wait So Long?

When we bought our house 12 years ago, one of the things we agreed on was that the old cooktop with the coil heating elements had to go. Well, we finally made good on that decision. We really like the sleek look and having five burners on a 30-inch cooktop is a definite plus, too. I did the installation myself in about an hour of actual work. It did take a bit longer than that only because I discovered that the old unit was installed without a junction box and I had to run to the hardware store to get one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall OK, but ...

Overall happy to have a new cook top. And it looks and operates well, but the burner's "hot" indicator lights are wired incorrectly. There are 5 burners and one of them is incorrectly assigned. Sloppy product safety execution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
