Sleek efficient cooktop

The look is very pleasant and clean. No more bulkiness of the electric coil cooktops with this unit. Just had it installed and so far so good but it will take time to get used to how quickly it heats up and how to regulate the heat. So far so good.

The large burner which heats to a boil in minutes is amazing. Never have I had an electric burner cook so fast. Great feature GE.

Great cooktop

I love this cooktop. This is my second GE- the last one was great also- however it cracked beyond repair. It heats up quickly and evenly. My only complaint is the knobs. My last one had touch controls- which makes for easier cleanup and a more streamline look.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hard to see

Glass range top seems to work as expected, but I have two negative observations.
First, the paint in which the legends for the knobs is light grey, with little contrast against the black glass. This makes the marks very hard to read. Further, they are quite small, so I have to get my glasses out to read them.
Second, the legends are unnecessarily complicated. These knobs simply turn from off to low to high. The only other clarification needed is whether you are controlling the center ring, or both rings.
The knobs would have been more convenient to have at the side rather front-center, where everything drips.
