I am 4 foot nine and most burners turning on and off functions can be accidentally turned with other style cooktops with this glass top. I have total control at anat all times including locking. I just love it.

GE Cooktop Profile 30 w/ 5 Burners Smooth Surface

This is the Replacement Cooktop, First one had Defective Burner when we first tried to use it. Unfortunately Special Order & last one available. This New one almost identical with some Chrome Trim. Sub-Contractor Bobby who did both Installations was awesome. Wife loves Cooktop & the Five Burners with the Knob less Touch Controls, Power Boil & Dual Ring Elements & Synchronized Elements for Griddles. Have to clean Top after every use because of fingerprints & spills.

Good Cooktop So Far

I have had this cooktop for a couple of weeks. I used to have the older version of this cooktop. I was pleased when searching for a new one (the older one died) that the dimensions were the same. This made installation easy. The updates make it easier to use. The surface appears to be improved. This cooktop features new technology. So far, the cooktop is fine, but I haven't had it long enough to know if it will be as good as the 17-year-old one.
