The sync technology for the precision cooking needs to have broader range for this application. Too limited to the products you can use. Would be better if yoylu could just set the temp on the burner and it was accurate no matter what induction compatible. No need for BT. The BT is really only good for thermometer cooking in the Smart HQ app. The pans for the BT have horrible reviews and are very expensive. For standard use it seems to work best if you work from high heat and turn it down and works great for everyday use. Easy to clean. I like being able to update the firmware over WiFi.

Totally agree with SD299 review of last week. My old GE of 15 years ago was much better designed. Your reply was not helpful. In addition there are design flaws which I feel are safety issues. The touch pads are way too sensitive. I have to keep them locked when not in use. No children in the household. One can barely move a pot from one burner to another without the second one turning on and the first one immediately turning off. Plus there is a lot of wasted space because of where the touch pads are located. Also the trim scratches very easily. I suggest a recall/replacement for safety purposes. Came with my new home. Extremely unhappy. The other GE appliances, oven, microwave are working well. Dishwasher gets 3 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your GE Profile Series induction cooktop. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your cooktop due to the sensitivity of the touch pads and burners.
Your feedback ensures that our product design teams are aware of any changes or perfections we can make to improve the overall performance and convenience an appliance has to offer.
Thank you for your review, and for choosing GE Appliances for your home! -Devin@GEA
This stove has a minimum size for pots and pans on each burner which makes using multiple burners very frustrating. The large burner only accommodates 7 inch or greater diameters however I have measured the bottom of my pans and it really needs 8 inch plus. This is extremely rare for large sauté pans or frying pans meaning I really only have one front burner. For some reason the front left burner should accommodate the same size as the back left burner. But it does not. Finding the right pots and pans has been very challenging due to this limitation.
