Cracked in Half Within 6 Months of Use

This item cracked in half after 6 months of normal use. Nothing dropped on it and I was cooking eggs when it happened - so, no "spillage."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Inaccurate Product Measurements

Great looking cooktop. I like the feature of having a timer right on my stove top. We replaced an old 36” cooktop that was malfunctioning. The measurements listed are 36 1/8” wide and 21” deep. Actual measurements are 35 15/16” wide and 20 3/8” deep. So in our application we ended up with a 5/8” gap behind our cooktop. We’ll be looking for a trim kit to fill the space.

It’s so sleek looking and I love the touch control feature. It’s the perfect size for someone that cooks for a family of 6 every day. I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE touch control cooktop is great. I love the design of this cooktop. This was easy to install. I love that this is touch control so I don’t have to worry about physical button or knobs to turn. This cooktop get hot really fast and it is completely adjustable. The surface is easy to clean as well. Definitely recommend this cooktop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect cooktop to finalize my kitchen. I inserted this into my island for a seamless finish and it has made my life so much easier! The touch screen controls make it simple to change temperatures or turn on another stove eye with the touch of my finger or knuckles when my hands are full. This cooktop heats up almost instantly and has different size eyes based off of what size pot you are cooking on. It has been easy to clean even the burnt messed off of it with the scratch protective coating that is on this. I am very pleased with this, I would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade or switch to a touch control cooktop!
