The GE cooktop is great as it is large enough with appropriate spacing. We replaced our GE profile stove with the cooktop and a double oven. GE makes good stuff.

Electric glass stove top performs much worse than same 20 year old it replaced. Burners are slow to heat up. Max temps are set very low. Using same cookware everything takes about 3 times as long to cook. Timer has a mind of it's own. Volume for settings is barely audible. It was a week before I knew I had this feature. Big letdown. Time to learn how to make soup/stews/pasta in crock pot or microwave.

It works, however, it is easily scratched and it the precision cooking doesn't work since installed. It works like a normal Cooktop but the burners wre too small. If you want to go with it just go for the 5 burners, you won't regrat

Easy replacement.

This is the second GE Profile cook top I have bought in the last 20 years. Luckily it fit in the same space as the old one and therefore I did not have to replace countertops.
It only took a few uses for me to become familiar with the new control functions. I love it.

Perfect replacement

This was a direct replacement for our previous GE profile cooktop. The old on was damaged by a power surge and worked perfectly for 12 years. This new one is awesome just like the previous one. I was ecstatic that it had the exact dimensions of the old one. It took the electrician about 15 minutes to install it and connect the circuit. This couldn’t have been any easier.

Great cooktop

We haven’t had it long, but it is working great. We like all the features, cleanup is very easy. Installation was fairly easy, although we needed to buy the optional trim kit.
I would recommend this to a friend!
