Vivobook S 15 keeps shutting down, hard to start

Middle of the road. As it keeps shutting down and it is hard to get it started after that. Once after getting it started I let it stay on until the next day when after 20 min playing a game it shut down. The back was getting warm almost hot so I bought a fan unit for laptops but that didn't keep it from shutting down. I'm not sure if it is hardware of software related. But for the money spent I'm not happy with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
