Performs as I expected. Easy to adjust temperature and no scorching the food as I did with my gas cook top.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love love love. Everything seems to work great. Have been using for about 2 months. We have all the correct pots and pans but occasionally 1 or 2 of the pots will not work on the burner I would like it to but once we move it to another burner all is good. Seems to clean nicely. Love the fact that there was a choice other than all black.

Product looks nice and cooks fine. The Wi-Fi function is not the best and sometimes the buttons don’t respond as well as they should. Also wish the top cooled down faster, the whole. Purpose was to have a cooler surface after cooking than a traditional cooktop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Bye Gas Cooktop!

After 10 years of using a gas cooktop, we decided to go back to induction. We had Dacor and Wolf cooktops in our previous home, all BLACK and sometimes a bit finicky with the temperature controls. The new GE Cafe induction cooktop is a vast improvement over the last two induction models that were in our previous home..so far so good with the performance and the color is fabulous!...no big black glass...it will not disappoint and I highly recommend over the competition.

Good performing cooking surface

Heats quickly and also has the ability to keep things at a proper low simmer. Get's some getting used to if you previously used stove/cooktop that was not induction, but adjusting is relatively easy.
