Great Induction Cooktop and is easy to learn/use.

Great Induction Cooktop and easy to learn/use. Great improvement over previous electric cooktop that came with house. Love induction cooking/control and first time using touch control instead of knobs and do not experience any drawbacks. Glad to have option of the "lighter" glass vs black glass on majority of cooktops since our kitchen is light colored.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beware unprotected glass edges and control loss

The choice to not extend the trim over all sides of the cooktop is positively baffling. One of those risks you don’t recognize until it is too late. There is no way to protect the glass side edges. Ours broke when a glass fell over on it. The cooktop glass is tough enough in the center, but on an edge with a slight gap since it rests on the top and bottom trim; there’s just no chance.
Also we experience intermittent periods when the controls quit functioning. Either they won’t turn on and none of the buttons work, or it won’t let us change power. Since there’s no on or off button we have to flip the breaker to reboot it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hasn’t worked since we got it!!! Supposed repair parts didn’t fix it. Haven’t been able to cook . Ruined Holidays. Living on take out. YALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!!

There is NOTHING SPECIAL about this unit. The temperature adjustments are not user friendly and the temperature is difficult to get correct. Don’t waste your money

Not at all happy.

This is the second one that we have owned in a row. The first was around 5 years old when the glass cracked and couldn’t be repaired. We then bought this unit and some of our pots and pans don’t work with this cooktop. They did with the old one. Not at all happy.
