Gap between glass and counter top.

Our only issue with this appliance is that by design, the frame supports the smooth top to the counter. Which is correct to keep the glass from holding the weight and breaking. but this leaves a 1/16" gap between the counter and the glass which when an over spill happens, the liquid will run down the smooth top thru the gap and it's impossible to clean and will eventually cause odors from the spoilage. The appliance should be designed with an edge trim to fill this gap in between. See my pics for explanation.

Good features but...

I do love my new Cafe cooktop but the timer and sound features are not loud enough. Also I wish the printing on the cooktop was a little brighter. I can't register my cooktop because the model number is underneath and the contractor has already installed it and I can't get to the bottom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice cooktop BUT...

We love the fact that this cooktop has no knobs. Also love the two sync burners for a griddle. However, the surface is very delicate and after one week of use it has marks and discolorations. We have used the sample of cleaner that was included with the cooktop and it still has marks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good ... But

I've only had the cooktop for 3 days, but the first time I used it I noticed some light dots (as opposed to dark which is what they should all be). I also notice a circle. I used the cleaner that was recommended but it did not fix either problem. I filed a complaint with my salesman who submitted a request for someone to come check it out. I am waiting for a call and for someone to come.

Keep looking for better quailty

I would NOT recommend this stove. Seems very cheaply made. Hard to keep clean. For the money it is not worth it. I'm not sure the air fryer works. It took as ling to cook potatoes as it does regularly to bake them. It's still under warranty. I'm concerned after ready several other reviews also disappointed with this stove. The knobs are dangerous because they are so big and if bumped easily turn on.

Sleek!

We haven't used this as of yet since it was just installed yesterday. It is very sleek and when installed in the granite, it makes the countertop look larger since there are no knobs to break the counter plane in two. Finishes our total cafe kitchen with grand style!
