Great cooktop.

So far, so good. This is a replacement for the one we bought 2 years ago that was damaged in renovating the kitchen. Contractor bought us this one as ours was discontinued. We haven't used it much yet but it's great.

I, like it but burners are to close together for us to cook when Im,ysing several one. Also when cleaning it messing with the controls.

We will be passing your comments about the burner spacing over to our product team to review. That way we can look for improvements we can make for our models going forward.
Also, you can lock the controls when cleaning the cooktop, this will help prevent any accidental button presses. Just press and hold the Lock Pad for 3 seconds to enable and the same to deactivate.

Perfect cooktop

In use it is a perfect cooktop. It did randomly uproar itself after 5 months and had to be replaced. GE took care of that but the service and replacement communication was VERY DIFFICULT to contact and confirm arrival. The guys that came to the house were great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mixed Results

Controls are easy to use and it heats up quickly. However, we had an electrical outage one week after the cook top was installed, and the power board and relay board had to be replaced. There's no protection between a power surge and these boards, so that's an area for improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
