Color me impressed

We had an old gas generator but that's not something you can use in a condo. The sunjoe power backup is my solution. It's great to be able to watch TV or use a lamp while waiting for the power to come back on. I recommend this for all condo owners out there

Great to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sun Joe portable power generator is a much needed item to have for those unforseen circumstances when the power goes out or when you need a power source on the go. I love that it has outlets for all you electronic needs. This is great to have in a storm preparedness kit for emergencies. We live in a state where tornados are known to happen and while this won't power a fridge, it will power little stuff as needed. It takes about 10 hours to completely charge the generator. There is a flashlight feature. It is not really heavy which makes it easy to carry when out camping, at the park, or any activity when you need a power source. It can charge smartphones and tablets multiple times and can run a small tv for 4 hours. Has usb-c and usb-a ports as well as a ac outlet and dc receptacle. This is a great investment to have. I would definitely recommend it!

Huge step up from a typical power bank

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SunJoe PPG300 is a huge step up from your typical power bank. I’ve had power banks and portable chargers in the past, but never anything like this portable generator. I was pumped for this to arrive as I live in an area with severe thunderstorms as well as tropical storms for nearly half the year. It’s really not uncommon to lose power during summer storms, however I work from home and haven’t really had too many options when it comes to charging my phone or laptop when the power is out. As long as there is cell service, I need a way to charge electronics and stay connected. I also wanted a portable generator that had an AC outlet. Lo and behold, this is where the Sun Joe comes in. It’s actually pretty lightweight and around 10 pounds and it’s super convenient to store. It’s incredibly compact and it couldn’t be easier to charge! I love the variety of ports and charging capabilities, as well as the number of charges that I can get for my phone or laptop. I do wish it was solar compatible, but this model is not and I think it really missed the mark on that front. Still, I can totally see this as being a staple for anyone on the go, in terms of road-trips, boating, camping, etc. I’ll be using this as part of my emergency preparedness kit. Based on the product info, it looks like it’ll hold a charge for up 3 months, requiring a recharge once a quarter. It’s been so easy to use. I’ve never used anything like this before and I won’t be without a portable generator again. This awesome. I definitely recommend.

Where was this when the ice storm of 2021 happened

First off, it can recharge so many phones at the same time it supports my entire family. It can also power a mini-fridge for 24 hours. So I could have used it for my plug-in heater in time of desperation. What I like is the support for camping as well as any travel situation. I can actually plug in my laptop while my wife drives when I need to. Super easy to use
