Fast and light

I have owned a few HP laptops and I am semi-loyal to the brand because they work well and consistently deliver. This one is no different. Processor is fast, computer is light overall, screen is clear and bright, keyboard is perfect size and it fits nicely in my bag on the go. Perfect size.

We have totally become an HP family. I am in love with our new EliteBook 840 G9. It’s a complete work horse. Long battery life, the camera is impeccable for virtual meetings, massive amount of storage, nice comfortable keys and trackpad, and the 14in screen is plenty big enough. I sold my MacBook and switched everything over to use this for work. I’m extremely impressed with the quality. We bought our daughter an HP gaming laptop 2 years ago and it’s still running like the first day we bought it. 10 out of 10 !!! Zero complaints for HP and their products.

Outstanding Notebook!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the HP 840 G9 Notebook for a couple of weeks and I cannot be happier with its performance.
This notebook comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor which I LOVE, a decent webcam, 2 usb type A and 2 usb type C ports, and a headphone jack. The keyboard is backlit, which comes in handy when i'm using it in low light and the spacing on the keys is perfect. The included charger is a usb type C and it charges the notebook quite quickly and the battery life is decent when using with the brightness turned down. The screen is bright and gives a beautiful picture and the speakers are loud and clear so I can easily watch a movie on this device. This notebook comes equipped with Wolf Security Pro which keeps my mind at ease about virus and malware protection. It also comes with 475 GB of storage as well (which is plenty for for me.)
Set up was very easy. I connected to the wifi and then logged in with my microsoft account so everything from my desktop would sync to this notebook.
Everything about this notebook is quick and efficient. From start up, to using it, to shut down, it's lightning fast. I can do multiple things on this notebook and leave things running in the background and it doesn't have any issue keeping up what-so-ever.

The only thing that I have found that I do not like about this notebook is the finish of it. It has a matte like finish that shows every fingerprint and every minor scratch which is a minor annoyance.
Overall, I am BEYOND happy with this Notebook and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for something smaller than a traditional laptop without skimping on the performance or features.

Lightweight Wonder

My old computer was slowing down and becoming unusable and with remote work, I needed to find a good upgrade that was secure, efficient, and had overall great functionality. This one fit the bill and went beyond expectations. First of all, it is so lightweight. Such a night and day difference compared to my clunky plastic-cased old laptop. The design is sleek, and the size is perfect for taking on the go. Memory space is more than enough. The pre-installed malware protection saves me money and gives me peace of mind when browsing the internet and dealing with sensitive work information. Most of all, I love how fast it is; I get twice as much work done! Audio, camera, and graphics are great. Overall, I am amazing with the technology, design, and function. Definitely would buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my HP EliteBook 840 14 inch G9 Notebook PC - Wolf Pro Security Edition. It was very easy getting it all set up. I absolutely love how thin and light the notebook is. The buttons light up when you click on them, which makes it easier to type at night time. I love that it doesn’t take very long to charge. I love that it doesn’t take long to load games or loading browsers. The only con about it is the mousepad. It is sometimes are to scroll down on pages, but I ended up getting a wireless mouse, but other than that this is hands down the best notebook I’ve ever owned.. I would highly recommend.

Amazing laptop/desktop replacement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would like a laptop years ago, but this thing blew me away! Stellar performance compared to what I was using originally (an older desktop, 4 years old) and that was a budget PC then.
After setting up the Elitebook with the latest updates and getting Windows 11 ( a free upgrade from Windows 10) I was amazed at the performance and battery life. I had no reference for battery life, but this unit lasts me all day (7-10 hours of work)!
I can't say enough about the performance really, but another wow moment was the clarity of the monitor, again I had no idea laptops could be this good. I would recommend the HP Elitebook 840 G9 to anyone looking for a great laptop with seemingly great specs for most laptops available when I wrote this. 16gb of RAM when my old PC was using 2gb, this took everything I could throw at it with ease!!

Light weight computer for a hefty price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This computer is very light, and has some great features. I personally like the shutter for the web cam. It is a simple slide button that isn't obtrusive. The touch pad is large, and placed in the center of the laptop making it usable for right or left handed users. The keyboard has adjustable backlit keys, which ranges from no light, dim or bright. The keyboard is compact, so if you have large hands, it might be hard for you to type. It is meant to be a business laptop, but I am reviewing it as a personal use computer. I feel that it is over-priced for what it is, but I am glad to have it.
