Extremely disappointed in this purchase. I have several pieces of luggage from Samsonite that I have loved and still use frequently. Got this Ascentra and immediately went on two week work trip. Material is poor, laptop corner tore thru the fabric, wheels are already showing wear, handle is sticky at best and frequently won't go up and down without fidgeting with. Don't recommend and would return if I could.

Went on a vacation to Italy. I have short legs, and long flights are hard on your knees when you can't touch the floor. I was able to use it as a foot rest. Loved the front zipper and the slot for my I pad. Its a great bag.

4.5! one button on the removable Ipad sleeve is constantly broken - for such price, I wish I didn't have to worry about finding 3 little things to put together in order to work as button. But, it is super light, the color is fantastic neutral for both me and my husband, wheels work well. I love all pockets - and it fits Austrian/Lufthansa:) Overall, I am happy

I was looking for a smaller carry-on, getting tired of sweating it out over my larger one getting weighed or measured on our international flights! This seems like a very nice one. I researched quite a bit, within the parameters I wanted. 2 wheeled, not spinner. Decent, sturdy handles. Not too many compartments, but just enough. I did not keep this Ascentra Underseater as it was just a wee bit smaller than I'd hoped for, but a good quality attractive piece. I debated long and hard about it, and in the end got a larger (but on the smaller side) carry-on. I gave it 4 stars because of course I didn't put it through the paces, and also the zipper on the main compartment was sticking in one spot just a little....but I'm SURE that Samsonite would have taken care of that!

Please bring back the Aspire Light!

I looked at this one, but it is much bigger And heavier(5.9lbs) than my Aspire Light (4.4 lbs) Which I have had for many years. Every year I look for a replacement, and I do not find anything comparable. I love Samsonite Please bring this one back!
