Can Not Stand On It's Own Four Wheels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this luggage as my checked bag. It was used as expanded and loaded to 50 pounds. The 1" expansion isn't much and to make it worse, the expansion is with a zipper around 3 sides only. The wheel-side does not expand at all. Once packed, the luggage would not stand on its wheel without tipping over. Materials and construction seems to be fine, having survived its first trip through airport baggage.

4 Kix 2.0. Carry-On or Checked?

The 4 Kix 2.0 is called a Carry-On. This Carry-On is therefore limited to only three of all the airlines listed on the size chart. The number of airlines listed is not a few. The baggage is to be placed overhead. It is too big for putting under the seat. It is expandable only on one of the three possible airlines. It becomes a Checked Baggage on the other two when expanded. Its depth is 9.5”. It expands to 10.5”. The empty baggage weighs 7.5 lbs. Maximum weight overhead is 35 lbs. A 7.5 lb. alone could damage the head and neck of small and big passengers when in falling motion. I would recommend packing very lightly. The exteriors of American Tourister luggage have come a long way since 1976, the year of my first and only suitor. The inside is near perfect. Over 10 lbs. in weight, the 4 Kix 2.0 is better Checked. It is only my humble opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
