Versatile for gardening and even painting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Green Garden Kneeler and Bench has great functionality. I do most of my gardening in spring and early summer. Inevitably, I always suffer from sore knees even though I’m young—guess it’s genetic luck! I like how versatile this tool is — I can use it as a kneeler or I can use it as a bench. I was really surprised that it’s so light weight and compact for storage. It’s easy to open – just pull the legs down until it clicks and locks. It’s also easy to close—you squeeze the springs and press the legs down to fold them— it does require two hands. The garden tool bag that you can attach, either if you’re using the bench or as a kneeler, is nice to keep track of your gardening tools. When using this as kneeler, the padded foam really does support and cushion your knees. It’s a soft yet dense foam, so I didn’t sink at all and it absorbs the pressure.
I found that the bench was really steady when I sat on it, however when I used it as a kneeler it was a bit unsteady on one side only. The locking mechanism seemed loose on that side, and I had placed it on an even surface. I had distributed knees and weight evenly, so it’s something to be aware of.
I think this is a really great accessory for a gardener or someone who’s interested in getting into potting plants or gardening. I think it’s an accessible product, considering it’s lightweight and compact when stored, and I could only see that someone may have trouble closing it if they have hand strength issues. I can also see this doing double duty and serving as a great bench for doing plein air as it’s definitely portable. The quality of construction is decent and the versatility is great! I’ve never used anything like this and it comes in handy for many uses.

The bench locks in place and is very sturdy and comfortable to sit on. It can be turned over to provide a comfortable padding on which to kneel while working in the garden. Love it!

And when I need to sit and plant pots and such it helps with my back and rear end. The tool bag is a great feature also, keeps things handy.

Very Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sidewalks all around my property and flower beds so kneeling to work in them can be painful. The GREEN PADDED GARDENING BENCH has saved my knees and back! And it is very sturdy which came as a nice surprise.

Very functional garden bench

I really love this for my garden!

I love how comfortable this is to kneel on when I garden. The foam is hard enough to keep my knees supported but soft enough to use for hours. Especially when planting things like onions. I would absolutely recommend this to any gardener and I’m going to have to order another one for my wife to keep us from fighting over it!

A Must Have for Urban Gardeners!

It folds up fairly thin so it doesn't take up much room in the tool shed. I wish I had bought this ten years ago when I first started my urban garden-- it makes weeding so much easier!
