This cover is supposed to fit my 36” griddle. It even illustrates it on the box. But IT DOES NOT FIT. It only fits if the shelves are lowered. With the shelves up and in place, the edges are so tight, the shelf would cut thru the cover. It’s a shame, because it is good quality and looks good. It just has to be made bigger. ….A fail in design.

Cover is great for the 36’ patio series 5 burner. Looks very sleek and has front zippers to access the drawers without removing it. I highly suggest this one if you’re looking for a grill cover.

Hi Friends,
I'm a big fan of Blackstone's griddles - we have the 36" griddle w/ hood top - but this cover falls short.
Two issues: the cover does not fit over the griddle properly, and the product selection was confusing/disappointing.
This cover does not fit properly. It is clearly not long/wide enough to easily slide/fit over the ends/corners of the side shelves of our griddle. Where the orange piping/seam begins to bend downward to the ground the cover should easily slide over the end and corners of the shelf. It is not close. It's about 2-3 inches too short on both sides, so about 4-6 inches too small overall. That written, the cover does go over the top of our griddle w/ hood and over the side shelves (in the up position) just well enough to protect the griddle and most the frame from the elements. We can cinch the straps when they are beneath the shelfs, but not much. Cinching the straps pulls the sides/bottom of the cover upward quite a few inches, so the wheels and legs are exposed to the elements. With this fit, the zipper openings on front panel of the cover are useless. If we recline the side shelves, then the cover will drape over the entire griddle very easily, but you cannot cinch the cover onto the griddle because the shelfs are reclined. Also, this approach leaves lots of excess material which makes the front panel zippers useless (not enough tension across the cover to use them) and the extra material bunches up which allows water to pool on the cover during medium/heavy rains. Overall, the cover does not fit properly.
Blackstone has six options for covers on for 36". Perhaps there should be one, universal cover, which fits all the 36" griddles and is rated for all elements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
