Bad for gaming, good for anything else.

i have been using this ssd for 6 months, to say it overheats is an understatement. it can overheat and disconnect at random intervals during high load sessions like gaming, from a 30min session to 8 hours depends on how heavy the game is on your hardware. for the price it's decent but paying a little extra for better ssds is definitely the better way to go. would not recommend.

Broken SSD

I have now returned my 2 TB drive that just stopped working. I have 20 years of experience and working as a IT consultant for many big companies.
Sadly the drive killed itself with no interaction from my part, with this in mind i will NEVER buy a Kingston drive ever again, because in my opinion (DATA) is the most crucial aspect of a computer, and if a drive fails that could be considered a total failure on the most important aspect of the computer.
And since i value my data, i will look elsewhere for drives. Sad since i thought Kingston would be like the AK-47 from russia, but sadly it is nowhere close to that in regards to quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Acronis drive clone isn't free anymore.

I ended up using hasleo for cloning and it worked well.
The NV2 hit 3800 so that was great but running into the Acronis cloning issue, pay to unlock the app, that I thought would be a non issue with Kingston was a big disappointment.

So about 2 weeks after using my hard drive, it seems to be unusable. Causing freezing in my computer and I have identified that it is the issue. I don't know how to ask for a replacement
