I purchased the Type-A Data Traveler Thumb Drive thinking it also had the Type-C capability. It didn't, however, I then purchased the Type-C Traveler Thumb Drive which I needed. However, I can use both -- one on my personal computer and laptop and the other on my work laptop. Either way these are awesome, I like that the piece that you plug in can retract when not in use and I LOVE the upgraded memory. Awesome product.

Title states type a and type c; but no adapter for using it with type a connection; plastic construction is average quality and mechanism to move the contact in or out is an effort. Storage part is good

Works as advertised. Only issue is the 'slider' function to open and close is not very easy to use.

Logical Drive Firmware

The firmware on this chipset forces Windows 7/10/11 to see it as a Local Disk, not a USB Drive. This makes it unusable in some specific applications where you must write to a removable disk only. I have found no method to "flip bit" this drive to USB. Being completely inflexible as a USB disk makes this unusable to many IT professionals when needed in the field.
