Wouldn’t stay connected to iPad

Returned item as I couldn’t get it to stay connected to my iPad. I loved the thought of the rugged item, but wouldn’t stay connected. I also didn’t realize how much I would not like having a tracking pad. Didn’t like how I had to have a mouse as well!

Connectivity Issues Otherwise Perfect!

I love this case. Love it. It's super sturdy, it'll survive my hellion children spilling juice on it or stealing then dropping it. I love that there's no battery to charge.
The only downside is that even after talking to tech support-- if the iPad goes to sleep not attached to the keyboard, it won't recognize the keyboard when it wakes up. If you reset the iPad (which takes all of 20 seconds) it connects no problem! So for me it's still a 4 star product. But if you frequently transition from iPad to keyboard it's going to be irritating.
Yes, I updated my ipad to 16.2. Yes, I reset it. Twice. No, it still doesn't stay connected.

Amazing Case Worth Every Penny

Love, love, love this case!!! Only reason I went 4 instead of 5 star is sometimes I have to clip and unclip the keyboard to make the iPad recognize it. It isn’t often enough to be frustrating. It feels sturdy. The sound quality is great even with the case on. Buttons easy to click as well. Very happy with my purchase.

Terrible product ...

Long time "happy" ZAGG customer [6 products over the past several years], but NO LONGER due to this terrible product AND a virtually useless support interface.
This keyboard case is poorly designed and that causes MANY problems with its use.
Returning for a Refund.

The keyboard covers the iPad when it is closed. It seems quite rugged. I particularly like that the keyboard is powered directly from my iPad, so no need to charge a battery to use the keyboard, or to worry that an internal battery is going to fail. The keyboard doesn’t have a great feel when typing, but I’m gradually getting used to it. Ir comes with its own screen protector so you don’t need to buy a separate screen protector. Using this keyboard with my IPad allows me to comfortably process my email without setting up my laptop. I haven’t seen another keyboard that I could use on my lap.

Does everything you could want, protect your iPad, has a great keyboard, iPad can easily be detached from keyboard & it still provides protection!!

This is THE BEST keyboard i have ever owned. The keys on the keypad work great and are easy to type on. I love the way the keyboard is detachable from the screen and how easy it is to charge them both at the same time, with the same charging cord! And the way you are able to change the angle of the keyboard to any point you want and it will stay there. Plus the ruggedness is an added benefit around our pets and children. Its a bit more heavy than most keyboards but not too heavy. Absolutely love this and highly recommend.
