Needed an additional satellite to get a strong signal out in my shop space. Just plugged it in and hit the sync button. I finally have a signal in a remote building.
Worked great out of the box. BUT THEN, came firmware updates which have been messy to deal with. Killed performance. Could be much, much more user friendly. Poor support online to figure out the issues.
I am having a LOT of issues with legacy wifi items - WEMO and LIFX for example.

So good I ordered another one. Living in a stone house has been a challenge with Wi-Fi. I love that I can hook it up via ethernet to areas of the house that have been a challenge to connect.
Slow. I have 4 of these and I am still getting 30% of the speed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Orbi Mesh 6E system is truly unbelievable. It is the fastest throughput mesh system I have ever experienced with very little drop off in speed from the ISP source in our home. We have a large home that had a number of dead spots using the Google mesh system previously. Using our previous Google mesh system the speeds dropped precipitously and even worse, their system regularly would completely drop the signal entirely, sometimes dozens of times a day. Quite frustrating. When I heard about the Orbi Mesh 6E system, it seemed too good to be true, particularly with a higher price point. The Orbi AXE 11000 has been a godsend for us with even higher speeds and only one or two brief drops (total) in the months since we installed the system. Additionally, we could never quite solve one big dead spot with a separate guest house next to our home. So, I added a single satellite to the guest house and the problem was solved. If I could give this product 10 stars, I would do so...! Outstanding product for our unique needs and really incredible speeds.
