Perfect for my RV

Was using my phone for hotspot but it kept disconnecting my camera when I wasn't there to reconnect. This hotspot works flawlessly and my ring camera stays connected. My camera is 2g but my phones connect on the 5g band. Love this device. My TVs stream at high def

Mediocre and expensive

The device has a terrible standby battery life. Take care to make sure it’s charged up for when you need it. When it’s working it seems fine and does the job. It costs way too much to be a good solution for a frequent traveler. When I’ve needed it the battery has not been there. I recommend finding another option for a hotspot.

Best camping tool ever

Living in Alaska, our summers are beautiful but short. Some of our camping trips are working trips where we need to be connected. Having this hot spot has been great for keeping up with emails, sending files and yes…. streaming movies. It has been trouble free to set up and very reliable. We added external antennas to boost the reception. Very highly recommend this device!

Advanced 5G Hotspot - Amazing Piece of Hardware

Speeds, network connection, and reliability on this hotspot are all great, and the addition of an ethernet port provides great options for providing uplink to a full home router in times of need, or using this as a LTE/5G backup for an otherwise wired connection. Works great for traveling with our RV. The app and touch UI work great for modifying basic settings, and more advanced settings are available via a webUI.

AWESOME FOR GAMING IN A RURAL AREA!

The device was almost just plug in and play for me! Since it is staying in my room, I removed the battery and have it just running from the outlet. I turned on the dual-band option to be compatible with my gaming devices- and made sure the battery/performance setting was switched to performance, so there would be no interruptions gaming. I also have my Playstation connected directly with an ethernet cable that can handle 1 gbps. Playstation tested the connection and reported 190 mbps download speed, which is amazing for a rural area! It runs my game at around 30-60 ping, which is acceptable for a hotspot. Opens webpages at lightning fast speed, capable of streaming stuff like Netflix. I don’t know what the speeds would be like on 4G, but ATT’s 5G service is seamless. If you’re a gamer like me with no good internet options, you definitely should consider either this device or the M6 Pro!
