Simple to set up, installation ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, this camera was super simple to set up with a mobile device. From there some decisions need to be made and how you’re going to install it. I’m lucky that my father is an electrician, so I was able to have him take over from here. Yes, it’s an outdoor camera, but don’t forget that it requires power. If you don’t want the plug to be present, you need to decide how to run the power cord to a power outlet. In my case, I’m installing the camera next to our porch lights so in my case, I’m running power through the roof crawlspace to a power plug halfway across the house. Luckily, the cord that comes with the camera is plenty long and gives you a number of options.
I love now having the knowledge of what’s going on outside of my house!

Nice camera, great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this camera for a couple of weeks now, an I must say it works well and has nice features. The features include motion detection, infrared detection m double led spot lights and siren. Records in 1080, the night vision works well, but I do have spot lights mounted above the camera for extra light. Recording are clear up to twenty feet away day and night. Reasonably priced for thr features it has. Easy to install, comes with all mounting hardware a cables you need to install the unit. Only took about ten minutes to setup and another 15 to install above my garage door. Download the app to set up the Wi-Fi connection or plug direct in you router. Swan has other cameras that will use the same app. So can view from one app.

ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM WILL CRACK

I bought 4 of these in 2021, so far they all still working and all installed under eves out of direct sunlight, but the only floor is the adjustment mechanism will crack causing the camera to droop over time. Even with a small amount of pressure and not overtightening the mechanism will still crack over time. Mine lasted 3 years and they all cracking. See the pic

Amazing Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the new Swan Wi-Fi security camera it has a very long cord so if you want to hook it to a wire you can but it's got night vision and works with Alexa and Google home and it's smart enough to know the difference between an animal and someone else walking in front of it I highly recommend this camera you cannot get none better for the price

It's ok, it comes with a data cable in case your wifi fails, but wifi doesnt, and if you have it plgeed in that close, then there wont be a wifi signal problem, so seems pointless. I dont use it. Sometimes, the app takes AGES to load the live view, so if you hear something, the cause would be long gone by the time the feed loads. I do like the ability to turn the spotlight on though. The app could be better, such as showing a screen grab of each event on the playback page. The app will probably improve, and the cam imager is clear and motion smooth. I'd buy it again.

Very happy with the cameras and app

very good security cameras and app. Someone tried to steal my motorcycle parked at the front of my garage and the camera picked them up and the police said the video was excellent and very helpful in catching the thief . I installed them myself fairly easy, the most time consuming part was running and concealing the wires and running back inside to a power point that took about an hour per camera. Also a good idea to restart the cameras every month or before going on holidays. Very happy with the cameras and app, would buy again.

Great Spotlight

I think the night vision view works very well compared to some other night vision images I have seen. I also like that you can do a 2 way communication. I app.associated with this spotlight also works pretty well so the overall experience is good. The image quality is very good which is a huge plus. Overall I am thrilled with the quality of this spotlight and would recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swann 2KO WiFi spotlight security camera comes with great instructions that are easy to follow. Just note that you will need to connect it to your cell phone and your WiFi. It can easily be set up indoors or outside along with a variety of preferences including video quality, distance, sensitivity and sound. I like the option for an alarm and to talk to people through the camera as well. I would recommend this camera to others.
