I am a coffee geek. I have had countless grinders over the years and currently own eight... several to be sold or given away soon. M - F, I make pour over coffee and this grinder is perfect. FYI, my espresso grinder is an HG-1. Great, consistent quality easy to adjust based on been type/roast level. Functionally, the foot print is small, heavy/good quality, fast grind (not a heat problem), quiet, static is not a problem. Love it!

Good for normal beans, not great for oily beans

Works with normal coffee beans. Did not work well with Vietnamese coffee beans. Got clogged easily and stopped grinding even though beans were still in it.

Fantastic Grinder

This grinder is substantial and was a surprise how heavy it is and yet compact in size. Compared to my previous burr grinders, this unit is quite and has very little static cling. I highly recommend using a scale. We grind only enough for 1 cup at a time. With a little trial and error, I'm using about 20 or 25 grams of beans depending on the type of bean and it's roast. We have exclusively been doing pour over for a few years and this is the perfect grinder for our daily ritual. Cheers. JJ

Simply exquisite for not many dollars. Grinds to perfection over wide range of brew styles and roasts. Quiet, almost unnervingly quiet. Lamborghini of grinders.
