I have had a Fellow Grinder for 7 years. I recently moved to a second home and purchased the 2nd generation. It works just like my original with the bonus of not leaving a mess of coffee grounds on my counter. The cup is wider and the cup top seems to not produce static.

I love this grinder! It took me a little bit of getting used to as I had an Encore before (which broke after 2 months of use) and I tried to make the grinds from the Ode look like what they did from the Encore and that put me at WAY too course grind for a Chemex. Now that I am used to it, I can't live without it! It's quieter than any other grinder I have used and it's almost mess free! It also grinds very quickly.
