Stops before all the beans are ground.

The Ode does does a fantastic job grinding beans. Unfortunately from time to time it will stop automatically before the all the beans are ground and sometime the beans get stuck in the hopper and don't grind.

Game changer!

This has changed our coffee game! Incredibly simple and easy to use, and grinds for a great pot of coffee! Sits beautifully on our counter. Is a fraction of the mess my old grinder made - the grounds are not all over when I finish using the machine. We grind just what we need and our coffee is delicious every time! Use the vacuum seal bean container and my mocamaster for the perfect cup!

The perfect gift for my coffee obsessed partner! We've made the most delectable cups of pour over coffee using our grinder. It was a splurge for Christmas but absolutely worth it!

Exceptionally well designed grinder. I bought the Ode Gen 2 because of the combination of quality grind, beautiful design, and compact size. I was even more impressed once it arrived and I started using it. Very simple and straightforward and does an amazing job of grinding my beans to the perfect coarseness based on the type of brew I'm doing.

I have been very pleased

I am enjoying the Ode 2 Grinder. I previously owned a Baratza Virtuoso Plus, now gifted to a friend. I opted for the Ode 2 for its aesthetics. Its a beautiful design. And then I discovered things to like about it. The magnetic, static free cannister. The pid that shuts off the device when the grind is finished. The big dial. Less powder than with the Baratza but that one wasn’t an issue either. It’s just a great option for a pour over coffee aficionado like me and I would buy it again.

I got this with the ssp burrs and its beeen working great. I love the anti static and how low the noise is. I mean it’s still a grinder but it’s not stupid loud. I do wish the dial had a more premium feel, like it’s got some feed back to it, but It could feel more machined and precise. By no means is this a deal breaker, cause the grinder work’s wonderfully. This is just my feedback.

Where did all the mess go?

(Comparing to Gen 1 grinder)
- Wayyyy less mess. Almost no chaff whatsoever, that anti-static technology really works. Gen 2 without RDT has noticeably less chaff (none?) than Gen 1 with RDT. I haven’t even grinding with RDT, Gen 2 simply doesn’t need it.
- The cap that goes on the catch can is also better. That previous one never quite seemed to fit 100%. The new one is easier to get right the first time.
- Yeah the bean capacity increased in the hopper and catch can, but I didn’t really need that. Other than that, pretty much the same.
Compared to the SSP burrs, the Gen 2 burrs seem to produce similar coffee, at least to an average coffee drinker like me.
