These knives are sharp and good looking. I had an expensive German brand but they got rust spots. I was so disappointed. Tramontina were not as expensive. They stay sharp and shiny. So much so that I bought a set of forks to match. These will last. I am happy with my purchase

The knifes fit so well in my hand, nice balance, sharp and cut everything very well. So well that I no longer use any of the other kitchen knives that I have.
I can not give them 5 stars because the stain on the wood handles is very p very uneven. varies from nice rich brown to almost no stain on all four knives. Makes me wonder if I was sent factory seconds knives. Not like the ones that I use when at Teaxs Roadhouse, which is the reason I ordered the knives.
