Not really induction compatible

I've been using this set for a month now, and it is not really induction compatible. The material these pots and pans are about 4x slower to heat up than a stainless steel of the same size. It will take about 10 minutes to boil some water to make pasta on this pot, but 2 minutes to do the same on a stainless steel of the same size.
Also beware that if your stovetop doesn't support variable sizes, you need to exactly line up the pot/pan size with the size of the "heating" element, otherwise the induction won't "catch it" and you will simply get an error stating the pot is not induction ready.

For reference, i have a 30 inch GE Profile induction cooktop that works perfectly on my Cuisinart stainless steel set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased these pans last month, if you have a family that cooks, I suggest buying a little higher grade of pans with a higher heat resistance, several of the handles have been burnt close to the pan due to the heat being a little to high. Other then that, I love these pans.

So disappointed! I love the look of this cookware and have owned other pieces by Tramontina. But this line is definitely not non-stick. Even though I followed the instructions precisely and seasoned each piece before using them, every time I use a skillet, I am unable to remove the residue left on the surface and have fo try using Soft Scrub, which isn’t always successful. This experience makes this cookware not fun to use.

i only want to use them for special occasions... they cook really well, for a novice cook anyway... i have stainless steel and cast iron... i love both but these are the non-stick i was looking for... very solid cookware, not heavy, but not light weighted... and the fact that they can be used in the oven like my other cookware sealed the deal for me... i'm not a review person but i am glad these were my first set from Tramontina... i plan to buy more...

I just received my pots only 2 days it took. Fantastic color and quality. I haven't used them yet but they look like they would be great. I will give another review after usage.
