I've never been a purse kinda gal. I've always been frustrated by how small women's pockets are, especially as phones and other things get let larger and larger. This field pouch has been the perfect solution for me. I love that I can wear it on my belt for a secure, hands free storage of my essentials. I use this as my every day bag. I'm glad that it came with easy to clip on/off shoulder strap - it comes in handy when I'm not wearing a belt. I also appreciate that I can tuck the pouch into my work bag. Stylish, well made, thoughtful design- it really is perfect.
With face masks, hand gel, and lots of other things nowadays, my pockets struggle to keep everything in them. This is great for this kind of situation. I've also used it as a valuables sling when flying, and is great for passport and vaccination documentation. Works well on its own, or as a section within my Everday Zip.
Finding a small really well designed sling pouch seemed impossible until I ordered this. The customer service was understanding after I had make a mistake in shipping address. great company. I have several other items from PD. Top notch design.
A practical pouch for several different uses. I use it as an EDC on a daily basis and a minimalist photography bag on weekends. The shape is quite good for smaller items, which is the main purpose, although not ideal for fitting larger items due to its angular bottom. Materials are top notch, which is the main reason I purchased it, something I can rely on for many years. Fits inside the everyday backpack.
Spendy? Yeah! Speedy service however and Peak Design always gets it right on quality, design, durability, and performance as well. A star for each. I’ll throw in another for communication.
its a great bag that held up mostly well. one critical flaw is the strap. it attatches to some loops on the side that has an adjustable length to make it a cross body or shoulder strap. held up well hiking through some rough terrain. the flaw is how the strap attatches to the bag is an incomplete hook that attaches to the bag but it doesnt have an option to be completely encolsed a better option would be if the strap ends, instead of flimsy plastic hooks had a carabiner or a snap link so that the strap holds on well to the bag. i say this bc during my hike the strap came off and the bag fell to the ground. luckily my camera and lenses in the bag did not break, a testimate to the bag and how well it cushioned the fall but i just wish it didnt happen.
I'm still super glad I purchased this. If Peak Design ever offered it with magnet closures that would be amazing. Being available in a 3 or 5 liter would be great too!
