I bought this à few months ago but didn't expect the quality I received. Great piece of kit! I had contacted customer service regarding a product question and they responded quickly helpfully and kindly
I purchased this for an everyday pouch for my Lumix GX85. While is does the job, it’s not the greatest to be honest. You can fit a decent amount of stuff in this pouch though.
Pros: Peak Design quality construction Outer shell and inner shell material
Cons: The velcro. It catches my Apple Watch band almost every time. It really feels like PD cheaped out on this one. Where are the magnets you are known for?
The opening. It might be beneficial to have slits down the sides? I’m not 100% but it can make it difficult to access certain pockets.
I got the field pouch as a Christmas gift and I've used it constantly since. I keep essential items in it and it's great to toss into whatever bag I'm using for the day.
The Field Pouch V2 is the perfect ultra light and minimal carry sling pack, that doubles as a pouch in your backpack, or can be carried as a sling with the straps provided, making it highly versatile in many situations. While using it as a minimal carry pack, you will be forced to rethink what to pack in it and only the essentials. Holds your phone, keys, average bi-fold wallet, a small torch light, tissues and wireless earbuds with ease.
I bought this hoping that I’d be able to fit my Fuji X-T2 & lens inside, for a super small daily carry kit. I wasn’t sure if it would fit, and it didn’t, but I’m now happily using it as a bag for all my random bits and pieces I got bored of swapping between bags.
I appreciate the changes PD made to V1. It makes this Pouch way better suitied for outdoor carry. especially with the two capture points on the side of the bag. The Field Pouch V1 makes for better packing with its internal pockets that are better than V2.
I strongly recommend you use the PD leash or Slide lite to carry this pouch, especially if your gonna be carrying attaching a camera to the side. The included straps suck.
