bout 15 months in the second hinge screws pulled out from plastic, the first one made it about a year. I like the cooler overall, but the hinge attachment was not well designed. Not abused, just in and out of van for tailgates. Warranty form submitted, we'll see how support does.

I bought this cooler based on Igloo quality, but it barely keeps ice for 48 hrs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so sorry to hear your cooler did not retain ice as expected. For optimal ice retention, we recommend pre-chilling your cooler and its contents, as well as using large blocks of ice or frozen water bottles!

Cooler looks. Good, but one of the rubber latches broke the time we used it. I called igloo, and they said the latches weren't currently available, though you can buy them on line.
