I thoroughly enjoy this cooler. It is a nice medium to complement my larger and smaller Igloos. In fact it is the one that will get used most often now due to it's manageable size. The only downside is my wife wishes it had wheels like our larger cooler to make it easier for her to move when fully loaded.

We are so sorry to hear your cooler did not retain ice as expected. For optimal ice retention, we recommend pre-chilling your cooler and its contents, as well as using large blocks of ice or frozen water bottles!

Great product with some minor concerns.

I received as a birthday gift and use it probably twice a month for weekend camping trips and around the pool. Overall I like the size and capacity of the cooler. Ice retention is really based on several factors, but overall it retains ice well and keeps things cold. My two concerns are the rubber latches and plastic hinges. Like I said I got this in March of 2021 as a gift and one of the rubber latches snapped in half. The hinges are plastic so I am sure, based on past experiences with igloo coolers they will probably brake at some point. I have submitted a warranty request for the broken latch, we will see how that goes (could change my review)? Overall I am happy with the cooler I just wish they would have made the hinges out of stainless for longevity.
