This is the first time I've left a bad review on a product. I was skeptical of buying this product because of all the bad reviews about the ice retention not lasting but I decided to take the chance since I saw some good reviews. I now regret that choice all the bad reviews are correct the ice retention for this cooler is the worst I've seen, the cooler should not be priced at that price, when the ice retention can't even last a day when it says up to 5 days!?!?!? I took the cooler into the mountains for ONE day hike and when I came back to my car the ice was practically all gone and my car was shaded the whole time! Don't buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The cooler is light weight, and the price is good compared to the big expensive brand names. It only keeps ice for a day and a half. I was hoping I could fill it once Saturday AM for the weekend at the beach, but no way it makes it till the end of the day Sunday. But for the cost, it is good.

Decent cooler and pretty sturdy

Overall this is a pretty great cooler. The issue I am having is the screw off drain plug. Every time I try to unscrew it drain it, I have to remove the entire plug and then reattach it once its empty. I don't know if its a design flaw but it is impossible to just remove that cap even when its not on the cooler. I am well past the 30 day return policy so I am guessing that I am stuck with this and just have to manage it. Other than that it is a pretty heavy duty cooler and it looks great.

Very nice cooler I got for the holiday price tag! If you're more keen on fishing, this has 2 rulers on the cover of the cooler for ease of measuring. Seals really tight with the black rubber straps keeping it in check. I am concerned about wear and tear, but I think there is a 3 year warranty on this bad boy. So please, do purchase this set! I think it is better than the regular coolers. I will be buying the largest version of this as well since we like the mid-size so much.
