[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After hours of research on products this 30 inch, four burner, all electric induction cooktop was what we decided on. This is the first induction cooktop my husband and I have ever used. So far we are extremely impressed with the efficiency of the product! We live at high elevation and now can boil water in under 3 minutes (not using the boost function) which is so impressive!!! This cooktop is so sleek and we love the details down to each and ever 'T'! We had been planning a kitchen remodel for years and wish we have done it sooner so that we could have used this longer! My husband and I both love cooking and can honestly say we will be spending more time in the kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spontaneous backsplash refresh in our kitchen, led us to an upgrade of our range hood which led us to an upgrade of our cooktop :-) i spent a considerable amount of time researching as I'm a former chef and wanted performance without killing my pocket book. WOW, this is my first induction cooktop and im amazed and thoroughly pleased with the level of control I have over my old electric glass cooktop. I can't wait to make some of my more complicated dishes. I've only had it 1 day and I will highly recommend Thor to anyone I know or talk to

Exactly what I was looking for!

We just moved into our home. We wanted to remodel our kitchen and upgrade the radiant electric cooktop with an induction cooktop. I was familiar with the Thor brand from my experience in restaurants. I was surprised to find the perfect cooktop at a fantastic price. I love how quickly I can boil water and how precisely i can control the temperature. It is almost like cooking with gas. I look forward to getting to know my cooktop better and learning everything it can do to make my cooking even better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Controls difficult to use

This 30” induction cooktop was new in a house we recently purchased. I used an induction range at my old house prior to this.
Pro: smooth top, easy to wipe clean
Con: settings are not backlit and very difficult to read w/o a bright light. Two separate touches are necessary to change power setting, unlike a knob which is far simpler and doesn’t require scrutinizing the numbers. Because it is difficult to see, it is easy to inadvertently lock the cooktop (hopefully will get used to this with familiarity. Overall, would greatly prefer knob controls.
